OUR STORY
Basee is inspired by the traditions of northern Kerala’s Malabar region, a place where food, culture, and community come together. The name Basee comes from a local Malabar term meaning “whatever you serve food on.” It reflects the simplicity and authenticity of home-style eating, where the vessel is less important than the warmth, flavour, and love that go into every dish.
At Basee, we bring you crispy Malabar snacks, homely curries, and authentic chai, all crafted with the same spirit of comfort and tradition that generations have grown up with. Looking forward to my weekly trip to a new favourite take away or dine in food trailer! Had a dish of everything on the menu ..soooo Delicious and yummy! 😋different taste from the normal Indian food you get at the food courts and the shops.
